Microsoft will be retiring old versions of the Microsoft Online Services Sign In application on June 15, 2011. By default, the application notifies users when a new new version is available and will update itself upon acceptance by users. To be sure whether or not you need to update users, check the version of the application on each user’s computer. Right-Click the Sign In appication’s icon in the Windows system tray and select About to see the version number. If the version number is 1.0.1418.24 or 1.0.1418.146, update it before June 15. You can for the availability of updates from the Options tab of the application window.
